Zahra Safai, the manager and owner of Shamis Gallery in Tehran, began her activities in 2017 with a focus on contemporary art and the display of new media works. With a background in Dramatic Literature from Sooreh University and experience in research and editorial work, she aims to create a new discourse between contemporary art and the Iranian art community through organizing discussions and publishing journals.
