O Gallery was established in 1994. To enrich and diversify its program, the gallery organizes exhibitions featuring established artists, young and emerging talents, as well as artists from other cities across Iran, all carefully selected with a distinct curatorial vision.
Orkideh Doroudi
Orkideh Doroudi (b. 1982, Tehran) is the founder and director of O Gallery. She studied Comparative Literature at the University of California, Davis. After returning to Iran, she worked at Etemad Gallery for about four years, which had a profound impact on her interest in contemporary Iranian art. In 2014, she established O Gallery. In the same year, her translation of Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Gallerists But Were Afraid to Ask by Andrea Bellini was published by Nazar Publishing.
