Founded in 2018 in Tehran, Nian Gallery is dedicated to supporting, developing, and promoting contemporary Iranian art. With a clear vision and cultural approach, the gallery believes that art is a universal language capable of fostering intercultural dialogue.
Since its inception, Nian has expanded its presence internationally, participating in art initiatives in Italy, Russia, Turkey, England, Kuwait, Dubai, and Canada. This global engagement not only introduces Iranian artists to the world stage but also facilitates meaningful cultural and artistic exchange.
Nian provides a dynamic platform for collaboration with established artists while actively nurturing emerging talents, helping them enter the professional art scene and gain visibility both domestically and internationally. Other activities include offering expert advice to collectors, curating and managing art collections, organizing solo and group exhibitions, and participating in international cultural projects.
Through its subsidiary “Nian Education and Publications,” the gallery also works to enhance artistic knowledge in the community and document the activities of Iranian artists. Nian Gallery continuously strives to present a vivid, diverse, and contemporary image of Iranian art, rooted in its history yet speaking the language of today.
